This course focuses on cultural issues that arise throughout life. How do you build a perspective on "culture" through your own background, context and disciplines? In the first part, different definitions are explained (culture, identity, cultural references, etc.), followed by a discussion.
Greta Balliu is of Albanian origin and lives since 5 years in Switzerland. She left Albania at the age of 18. She studied economics in Bergamo, Italy and is currently doing her doctorate in Freiburg. For two years, she has been coordinating the project "Intercultural Diasporas and Democracies".
