Telephonic monologues for open ears
At the end of the line, different voices express their loneliness. Narcisse is celebrating his 70th birthday and dreads the arrival of his friends. Young Aziz has just recently arrived in Switzerland and is learning French by himself. In her forties, Jeanne has a complicated past and doesn’t really know where she comes from. Fifty-year-old Markus hates to drive and being cut off his right of way. For a fleeting moment, the solilophone lets listeners tap into the mental flow of these characters, amongst others. These strange, absurd and surprising monologues are a live performance of Fribourgeois comedian Emmanuel Dorand. A fan of travelling and street theatre, the artist explores untypical performance settings.
