Nomadic knowledge lectures

Prior to their departure, the protagonists were lawyers, cooks, IT specialists or art historians. Today, having arrived in Fribourg, their lives as refugees often prevent them from practicing their profession. In this new life, they are usually considered under the fugitive angle only. However, refugees always carry their knowledge with them – and Imported Lectures makes it accessible! Literature, history, physics, art, sport, cooking or crafts: one lesson at a time, experts who have fled to Switzerland share their knowledge with members of the public.

This project was created together with the Espace culturel le Nouveau Monde. Further Imported Lectures will take place in November and April.
